Tried making "Peanut Butter on a Spoon" yesterday, came out a treat.  So forgiving, this works even if you double the peanut butter amount. If you don't have the spoon to make this, a stick works just as well.

If you can afford it, a premium nut butter like Fixx and Fogg offers many variations of flavour.

I have long had a recipe similar to "Peanut Butter Balls", called "E's butter pudding":  take a lump of chilled butter about the size of a marble and form it into a ball. Roll around in the sugar bowl until well coated.  Consume, enjoying the taste and texture contrasts...

For cooking pasta, if you might get distracted or fall asleep watching it boil, it works just as well if you just bring it back to the boil, turn off the element, put the lid on the pot and leave for the required time (~10min).
