So first of all, I just wanted to say that I love this game. Val is the fastest and most fun metriodvania character ever, and I can't wait for it to release on steam. Here are some of my thoughts.
Bugs:
- Val will shake, turn and vibrate as she rises or lowers on elevators.
- Meteor dashing doesn't use one energy. It also resets Rena's stun timer, meaning you can kill her in under 10 seconds.
- Why is it that the bug the prevents us from buying from rob still here?
- Ritcher will clip to the other side of Val if you try and corner him. Not sure if this is a bug or a lack of animation, but I think an animation would help this as it wouldn't feel like Ritcher is warping.
- Lauren is at the place where Val's gets her double jump (forgot name of the place, sorry), but won't talk to us?
Improvements:
- I feel that the boundries for the fight arena's should load on the last line of dialogue, not after, to prevent player's from clipping through the wall's. I think a skilled enough player could pull this off (I could before).
- Why is Ritcher's fight arena so small? I get that players were avoiding him too much before, but this is way to small. So many other metriodvania games have bigger fight areas. I don't know if this is too much work, but could you Ritcher upper cut if Val's trys to dive kick and jump over him.\
- I find it annoying that Val can't dash after dive kicking. It would useful for speedrun's if you could dash again after divekicking a sludge block.
I have one last question, but this is mainly directed towards the players. My question is, where is Sevencrane? Why hasn't there been an update, or at least a patch, in so long? Is he busy working on the final boss, or he busy with other things.
