I tried downloading this, but it said there's a virus????

I tried downloading this but Windows 11 defender detected a trojan???

I really want to try this, so uhh, did it happen this happen to anyone else or just me??

Ok so, I read through some of the Twitter replies and they say it's safe to download, but I just want to get some extra confirmation it's safe, before I try downloading it again.

i am not entirely sure but win10 defender says its detecting “Trojan:Win32/Phonzy.B!ml”…? which i am nearly 100% sure is some sort of false flag.

it is 100% a false flag, i’ve ran it and looked into it and its totally safe and fine :P

Do you know how I can download it even though it's being picked up as a Virus?

You have to go from your Antivirus and autorize it. But he needs to certified his app that was not a virus if he don’t want to get reported to Itch.io has virus.

Windows 11 also clocks the app as a virus. It automatically deletes the file and I cant open it at all.

Y'all can't mark it up as exception on windows defender BEFOREHAND? Not that it was an issue here, running linux.
