This software looks really nice and polished, but currently don't support any animated file qwq

I would love to have that feature <3 would expand possibilities even more

Definitely need this, i have a blinking animation while idle and talking.

This feature would be wonderful! As an alternative, even having the option for an individual sprite to have multiple "frames" or images would be a game changer. (Off-topic, but also maybe adjustable "blink frequency/duration" variables?)

totally needs apng/gif support

Didn't the video show that this is already in (change sprite during animation)

I agree with the use of animated files tho. Gif, apng or webm, anything that can add a bit of extra to the model. I have to say tho that the transparency works flawlessly on Linux, and I was missing that from the other one.

Haven't gotten the tool to work for me yet but yeah, was thinking gif support would be incredibly useful for me. I'm interested in doing a static PNG sprite with a small gif of a mouth moving over top that toggles when the character is speaking, similar to an Ace Attorney sprite.

Yeah, I definitely agree, it's really hard to make a convincing tail swaying movement without the use of multiple frames. The option for certain objects to have multiple different frames would be a game changer.

ooh so much this, went here to see if someone mentioned it. I used to use .gif file for mouth, so when I talk the shape of it changes so it looks natural. This is single feature I would looove to see <3

it would be nice to have this ! Having a possibility to use gifs would help a lot make the characters more interesting. For example the mouth open could be animated forms of the mouth instead of just open. Not sure how you coded it but maybe instead of using a certain image there could be a list of images that play each cycle(? (I’m only new to programming so idk how difficult it is)

Yes, would love this too!

+1! That would be really cool if we can use gif files too~
