Re add the "Close Button Should Hide the Application" feature

Good Day, I have purchase cider 2 for Linux (Ubuntu) and so far everything is good.

My only concern is that in the Classic version, I could click on the close button and Cider would hide / close to the taskbar Icon.

This function seems to me gone in Cider 2. I know there is a "minimize to taskbar icon" option. But as someone who has had the muscle memory of clicking the "X" close button instead, it gets annoying when I accidentally exit the app instead of just closing it to the taskbar.

It would be a great quality of life feature if that option was added back to it.

Thank you for the awesome software and keep up the good work.

agree with this as well

Same, this was a good feature

Hi y'all! This is Kai from the Cider Discord.

With Cider 2.3.0 (releasing soon), closing the window does indeed minimize the client to the taskbar.

not working as expected... it just closes completely

Huh, that's weird, I might've misunderstood the question. Regardless, I'll pass on that request to the dev team!

hello! I'm on arch using v2.3.0 installed from pkg.tar.zst, enabled the flag to minimize the window on close but doesn't work as expected. The app closes as soon as i click the button or close the window via keyboard shortcut. I'm on gnome if that can help

This is still not working properly on 2.3.1 :/

Can confirm. This feature still doesn't work correctly on 2.3.2-pre2. Would definitely be nice to have it back.

This is still not working on 2.3.3 :(
