Greetings! if you are reading this I am just gonna discuss about the older version of characters in the game about their old lore and reminiscing their interactions.
When we First met Gouki is in Hioni after finishing the Blackcry Demon boss fight, once arrived there by a teleporting stone, Upon Arrival Hana expresses that the Winter in Hioni is too cold and harsh for her to handle there suggesting to find shelter, when found a lone man near a tent Hana was thankful for his generosity by letting them kept warmth in the harsher climate, the man strikes a conversation between the player and Hana warning them about the swarming of army of skeletons and particularly he is more concerned for them about a half-man half-wolf which he later presumably say that it is a werewolf (Gouki) he told them too steer clear away upon encountering the werewolf.
This has obviously caught both of the attention of the player and Hana, which she later asked him more about the werewolf, the man complied to answer her question, it is said that the werewolf have killed it's family and killed many villagers in the process, some higher ups placed an large amount of bounty on his head as the werewolf escape the pursuit of his hunters, He also mentioned that the werewolf that have sought refuge in Hioni, this has caused an another disturbances for the people of hioni to worry more with the skeleton army invaded in of their prosperous city and a infamously dangerous werewolf is currently in their lands.
Once they are fully aware and informed that werewolf is dangerous and powerful, both the player and Hana vowed to hunt down the werewolf to make people of Hioni be at ease, The man was concerned for the two adventurers but later gives in after they demanded more information where that werewolf was last seen, The man later guides them that the werewolf is currently hiding deep inside the winter forest.
Once Hana and the Player made their way north inside the white forest, they encounter a Muscular man wearing such casual clothes unbuttoned shirt and a ragged pants with green hair, of course he later introduced themselves to the adventurers his name is Gouki, Thy immediately suspects that Gouki is the werewolf, (usually in this interaction with Gouki, the player can either be reasonable with him or provoking him into fighting them thus initiating an immediate combat) Of course with Han she has this desire of defeating the werewolf after hearing he's heinous acts he have committed based on the information they have received, thus of course Gouki was an kind and chill man he calmy sees them as mercenaries or bounty hunters.
(In this confrontation with Gouki usually ended up with you defeated due to his prowess of a powerful werewolf simply overpowering you and Hana in this fight, But you can simply fight him until he runs out of HP with the Buffs before fighting him beforehand, Once you defeated him you recieved a tremendous amount of EXP and significant of Col plus awarding you his necklace in advanced,)
However ironically the moment you defeated him he will both knock both of you out and drags both of them outside of the white forest, once they both wake up with the fire besides near the teleport stone, they are both healed up covered in bandages (in the later versions it improved that they are being fed with healing potions instead of being covered in bandages) Hana felt the kindness from Gouki and finally realize that Gouki is a kind-hearted man towards the young there is no way someone like him could committed those crimes if he is so gentle and kind, she felt guilty that she treated him in such way because she believed the information of him being portrayed as the bad guy.
Hana later suggested to go back into the white forest to apologizes Gouki for attacking him, The player agreed and goes back to the White forest, upon arrival they spotted multiple boot prints on the snow, and they know that these belongs to the bounty hunters after Gouki, They know it's their fault by leading the bounty hunters to him the moment he brought and healed them outside of the forest exposing his location hiding place.
