Hi all!

We're Alarkus Games, a two man dev team currently working on HorrorVale.

HorrorVale is a traditional turn based RPG set in a lighthearted horror themed world. Play as Alice, the skeleton witch in training, and journey through the underworld uncovering mysteries and making friends along the way. The game is inspired by horror in all its forms, from old silent movies to modern internet circulated horror stories.

We've been working hard on HorrorVale on-and-off for around two years now, between other commitments, but now we finally have a demo ready to share with the world. It's still in the early stages, but we've made sure the demo serves as a little experience that feels both "complete" and leaves you wanting to explore the rest of HorrorVale! We love the world that we've created and we've put a great deal of love and care into the game. We hope that becomes apparent as you play. 

We're really trying hard to get the word out during Halloween season, so if you like what you see please spread the word! It would mean a lot to us both. We've put together a little trailer below that ought to give you a good taste of what HorrorVale is all about. Enjoy!
