Seems that Reddit being trash (of course); the mods on Reddit removed the comment by the Unreal Engine dev.
Probably should get Epic Games to make an official statement then link to that on your itch page here. People are far too quick to throw devs under the bus as plagiarists precisely because of how many do it.
