I'm new to this game,  and I don't really know how to use some of the crafting skills. For example, I've been trying to learn how to use wandcraft. I know I need a magic shard, a branch and a spell(?) to make a wand, but I don't know what to do with the items. Do I need a workbench for wandcrafting? What keys do I have to press to make the wand? I read the guide and skill descriptions, but I don't really know what I'm meant to do. What about the other crafting skills?

All the skills generally work the same way: select the skill from the skill menu. If anything's required, it will tell you. For Wandcraft specifically, you'll need a branch, a shard, and some knowledge of a particular spell.
