i was wondering if the game is still being updated

Latest version on itch.io should be stable. Only doing maintenance updates - the technology that made the game is very old.

Hey, the Kongregate version broke! The screen that says Click to Start doesn't work.

I'm not going to maintain the version on Kongregate, sorry.

Still getting the popup I mentioned on the Itch version.

These are the only pages  on the internet I can find with solutions:

I don’t recommend playing Red Rogue in the browser. Flash is obsolete and I don’t have the tools, knowledge, or money to keep a free game working. This project has not covered its own development costs in all the time it has been available (2012) so there’s only so much I can do.

Steed, what desktop version? I downloaded the flash desktop version from Itch.io. It opens in Flash Player 10, I think. I still get that popup. It opens my browser.

I still get the popup, all this time later.

Specifically this, whenever I go through a door, even on itch.io: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html

Sorry, I can't actually solve this problem. Flash is no longer supported. There is no way for me to recompile the game with infinite save storage.

I will remove Red Rogue from circulation.

I’ve got to say I’m sad to see it go, and I feel kind of guilty for this.  I wish you luck with your future endeavors.
