I actually liked this game, the writing is pretty good, for not really using any extravagant language it certainly manages to be pretty powerful in the context or i suppose lack there of. I was going to suggest adding music because the game feels empty, but I imagine that was what you were going for anyway, and i do think it sort of forced me to take the game more seriously than i would have otherwise.

I do however think this game would really benefit from original graphics, or at least i'd suggest you try make original graphics for any future game you might make, you obviously can draw judging from the images in game, and you have a pretty cool art style as well, maybe one that doesnt translate well into the small size of the sprites in rpg maker but regardless i feel like you'd be able to portray the tone of the game much better with your own work, thats just personal opinion though.

I liked the story, didnt really understand it that much (guess ill have to get the other two endings) but it is fairly interesting, what im picking up so far anyway is something about suicide, self harm, hospitals, comas, maybe a relationship that ended during a coma, and possibly something about being transgender but im not so sure about the last one, but i think all these things were pretty well portrayed, because it wasn't like, ridiculously cryptic but it was still vague enough that you had to sort of connect the dots yourself, and i always like that kind of storytelling.

Basically, good game, keep it up!

Thank you so much! This is my actual finished project so I'm super glad you like it. I agree that it would be better with original graphics but because of the small scale it has I figured it would be easier (for me anyways) to just have the default sprites. You are right, it's hard for me to draw pixel art or squeeze it down to work. I'm not sure if it would be the best idea to update everything at this point unless im directly replacing the sprites but I'm definitely looking forward to doing it myself for the next project (whenever that happens lol) I'm working on an update that fixes a bunch of small issues and slightly revamps one of the endings, so hopefully that'll be the last I need to fix for the game.

heres how to get all the endings, if you want an easier way to figure it out. (as of 1.1)

Ending 1: Play through the game normally without doing anything other than the chair puzzle and the piano

Ending 2: after you screw on the valve in the bedroom, head back down as usual but turn left (easy to accidentally stumble upon)

Ending 3: Go through the trash beside the store and bring it to the bloody bathtub and screw off the valve then go back outside. (through trial and error you might be able to figure it out normally)
