First of all, the concept is great and I can't wait to see more! However, I would also like to see some things improved.
1. The game is too dark. So dark, that when I first booted up the game I thought my game crashed, but no, the starting area just isn't lit enough, and if you move your mouse a little bit too fast you'll only see black and nothing else. Even when you get the lighted, it's pretty hard to see. Not in a scary way, but in a nausea type of way.
2. Please allow for a sprint option. Move speed doesn't need to be super fast, but if scenes aren't saved and you have to replay the game every single time in order to see a specific scene, then being able to move faster by holding shift would be a blessing.
3. It's hard to navigate what your objective is. I don't even know if the home we're in belongs to the main character, the narration certainly doesn't help clear thing out. It's difficult to decipher when he or someone else is saying something. Please have the subtitles all be in first person and just have it be "Guy: something, something", "Ghost Girl: something, something". If it wasn't for the guide, I would've been hard stuck, and I'd hate to see people loose interest in something which I think will be so great. I get the idea of not having too many visual indicators, in order to not break immersion, but please have the main character say something when he's near an object of interest or have a journal with objectives
Looking forward to this game's development. Good luck!
P.S. I'm also eagerly awaiting updates on Silent Statues. That game has so much potential as well
