The game, to start, has very nice ambience and visuals; I think that these are the game's strong points. The sound is nice and the music fits the game, and the lighting I think looks pretty well done. I think that the movement is where the game struggles a bit. I heard you're working on improving it, so I cannot be too critical, but if I had some pieces of advice to give I'd say this:
1. I think if the player could change their momentum mid-air, it would make the platforming feel less frustrating. A lot of platformer games do this, and without this feature it feels like you don't have much control.
2. Allow the player to be able to jump off a wall after wall running. I think that it would make wall running more useful and integrated into the gameplay.
3. The positions of the pool floats should reset when you die, I kept having the problem that they would eventually drift too far away after retrying a bunch and then I'd have to restart the level.
4. I found it easy to get either stuck on certain objects or to collide with objects and then accidentally jump up off of them when I didn't mean to and end up falling. With the getting stuck issue, specifically those pools of water around the checkpoints are really easy to get stuck in for some reason. With the accidentally jumping off the wrong objects, I think implementing the momentum change I talked about in number 1 would nullify the frustration of it, as instead of accidentally jumping off something and just falling to your death, you could save yourself.
Overall, very nice and ambient game. I'd love to see development continue and it become a fully fleshed out experience.
