i unzip the package, download the defaultavatar, and run the program and it just doesn't work. the default avatar doesn't show up and there's no way to access the folder space that pngtuber has.

I've had the same issue with my Mac, running 14.3 Sonoma public release. Before you attempt this fix, be sure to open PNGTuber+ at least once on your Mac to create the relevant folder.
1. Navigate to your PNGTuber+ AppData folder
/Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/PNGTuberPlus
2. While inside your PNGTuberPlus folder, copy and paste your avatar asset folder into your PNGTuberPlus folder
3. Open PNGTuber+ as normal and your avatar should still not be available to view; that is normal
4. Click the +Sprite button and it should pull up your PNGTuberPlus folder from previous steps
Your asset folder should be added and you can use the program as normal.
I know this message is almost one month old but do you have any idea how to force the godot folder to show in Application Support ? I know that since Lion some application support folders are harder to find and I have yet to find a way to make these hidden folders appear, did it just show up without trouble for you or did you have to go dig for it ?
I've opened PNGtuber+ before trying to look for the folder and even tried to save the default avatar as a different file to try and make it appear but I still can't see it, and so far your work around seems to be the only way to access those files as long as ESC leads to the -50 error.
