It’s quite disappointing, it feels like my money  is trash. I’ve admired this project since I discovered it two years ago, but the community’s negativity when I seek help and the unmet promises have worn me out. I hope this message isn’t removed, and that a solution is provided instead.

Purchased the Itch.io version and got  v2.2.0   21/9/2023  (Linux)

Hi all! This is Kai from the Cider Discord server. Unfortunately, due to how the team develops, updates are far in between as they add new features almost daily. However, with the new client update system, you will be able to opt in to regularly releasing updates to Cider without (almost) ever having to reinstall through Itch.io (some updates will require a full install). This will make the sparse and month long wait on updates a thing of the past! Again, sorry for the long wait times, but a new version is just around the corner!
