On mac you often have to have that happen, then go into your settings and manually allow it**, then open the app again
I'm not at my mac right now so I dont remember which part of settings its in specifically, but if I had to guess it would be in either Privacy, App Store, or mayyyyybe extensions?

** oh also to manually allow it you have to click the little lock icon, enter your pass, and then it will give you the ability to allow it, if the lock icon is still locked the toggle will be greyed out
