Hi,
I am very happy to stumble upon this site, the game looks amazing, I hope more people see this hidden gem. I do have a question about spells, lets take portal as an example:
Portal (Range: Medium | Targets: 1 | Size: Medium | Spell Range: Far | Resisted Level: 3 | Check: Magic 10 | Resisted Check: Magic vs. Will) Target can be teleported to a visible location within range.
Everything is self explanatory until the "Resisted level 3" section. I have looked and used a search function to find this in the rules, but I am assuming this spell works on PC's level 1-2 without a resisted check, but level 3+ have a resisted check?
here is another spell:
Blackfire (Range: Short range area | Targets: 1 | Damage: d4 | Check: Magic vs. Agility)
A swirling black fire engulfs all victims in short range area which causes damage.
I am confused with the range of the spell "short" and the number of "targets" when combined with the flavor text "engulfs all victims in short range". Should the mechanic line of the spell take priority over the flavor text or is this just a typo?
These two spells stuck out to me upon first reading the documents and again, I had a fun time reading these rules books. Thank you for creating an edition of fantasy role playing game I have been waiting for to play for so long.
Thank you for your time.
