I think this would be a major help when working on these games. Especially for those of us with older computers/controllers that aren't as responsive as they should be while playing.

The general solution is save states supporting that have been confirmed to be supported in the future release :)

I'm guessing that unless cheat codes make it in there one day, you're probably never going to see the later levels of Battletoads in 3D, but then again... without the codes you'll probably never see anyone make it far enough to complain about it anyway.

You could use cheat engine to do cheats without game genie support eh.

Codes like maxing out your money would be easy and anyone can do them.

Stuff that requires programming would be a bit too tough for most folks.
