It would be helpful if we users who have played the game in till the next update and lost all of our progress. It would just be easier to get our progress back using cheats and not redoing all our hard work
There are cheats to get gold, exp and even scenes faster for $5 patrons. A more immediate way would be to ask someone for their save or... expect Caro to code in a checkpoint system, which could be hard to do, prone to many bugs and even abusable.
there is no cheat code but I suggest playing the game without trying to cheat or whatever and enjoy the game, the story is very romantic and its worth the wait.
