Playing newest version as windows standalone wont work

Hi,

i tried to play the newest version (0.4.0) as the windows standalone but it gets blocked by the cross origin error directly after you start the game. Hope you can fix that. Thx.

I normaly install over the itch.io app on windows but tried to download it manually to see how this is doing and there isnt anything available. it only shows "Nothing is available for download yet."

So is this version not yet ready as standalone windows app because its just a plain website on my disc and not the final build as one exe file as before?

Godot 4.2 build requires SharedArrayBuffer support there by needing cross-origin-isolation. It works on itch.io using the browser, There is a native windows executable available for download

Do i understand it right that i have to pay now to get the new standalone windows version  or otherwise the download will be empty?

Also in the itch.io app only this version is available that wont work.


I dont want to play in browser because of the performance and also dont have the savegame there.
