Looking for: 2D Artist/Animator & Partner in the USA
Looking for a motivated and creative 2D Artist to make Character Sprite Sheets, Tilesets, Clutter Sheets, and be able to animate it all. I'm very open to any art style. From very very simple cartoonish style to serious high resolution. Really whatever the artist likes to do. However, no real theme has been picked out as far as Medieval? Space? Steam Punk? Futuristic? I'm really open minded to any style that excites or intrigues the artist. We would decide together as partners if you decided to work with me.
My talent: I am proficient in reading/writing C# and with designing in Unity. I also can do music and SFX. I have all the equipment and software needed to record any audio. I am also working with Wwise Audio Software integrated with Unity to bring 3D sound to my 2D game. Also, I can do story and writing. Level design.
Project: I have been coding the skeleton of a game for a little over a year now all by myself. I have about 80% of a game coded and functioning. It's a 2D hack/slash dungeon crawler RPG with a full inventory/item/weapon/armor system. Full Stats System. It has a questing system. Dialogue System. Enemy/NPC creation coding is all done. I will probably code in a crafting system also before its done. It really just needs artwork, almost everything else is ready.
Length of project: Well, I have been working on this for over a year myself. If I found a motivated artist who consistently produced and worked with me to build the game. I see no reason why we couldn't release a game a year from now.
Split %: Currently this is a Passion Project with the intent to start an independent game studio LLC. Where all profits will be split equally with all LLC Partners. Ideally, I would like to keep it to 2-3 people in this team total. Including myself. Also, I want all partners to be based in the USA to keep tax purposes simple.
