the games telling me i have stat points to use but when i click on the button it gives me, which is just change the games difficulty, that doesnt show me an option for stats, so idk where to go to view my stats, and put in the stat points that the game is saying i have available.

Stat points are used in your room (like leveling up), you should see a few icons in the bottom right of the screen. Remember you need 3 stat points for a HP/MP increase and 5 to increase a stat though.
