Responsibilities
Communicate throughout the week on work you've done and update the rest of the team. Be responsible for making sure you have tasks. If you do not have tasks you should be looking for things to do after you contact me. Sitting idle because no one gave you a task is not acceptable. Be proactive and try to figure out what the project needs, reach out with suggestions, and be involved in the development of the game. We value team effort to ensure our games match the quality we want to deliver. Everyone has a voice and is encouraged to use it.
• Good documentation, verbal, and written skills
• Come up with several ideas and flexible enough to adapt those ideas based on input from others
Qualifications
Need to have a history of solid gameplay design. Should have a portfolio that demonstrates this with videos and documentation of GDD’s you’ve worked on. You may be considered if you have potential as a designer. Need to be capable of adapting to new and different genre’s. For instance, the game you will be working on is a comedy arcade style game with beat ‘em up gameplay. Some of the designs have already been done and gaps need to be filled for that. You may want to recommend something else for something already finished.
+ if you have other skills like programming, art, or modeling skills
+ if have shipped game experience
