What all do you have to do to get rid of the cigarette addiction? I'm constantly broke because I can never work because I don't want to smoke. Even with antidepressants the desire to smoke and depression leaves me with a constant bad mood.

Just dont smoke, i skipped a few days without doing nothing (dont know if its a bug or not), you dont need food or sleep, if you just skip the time, i think after a week she said the urge to smoke is low and after a few days you are not longer adicted (as long you dont smoke again).

Dont know if there is a way to get rid of it, without skipping days because you cant nearly do nothing with the bad mood of "want to smoke" an the depression.

Later in the game you can have a lot of sex, it will push your mood with +20, so you could do it without exploit the skip function.
