For some reason Dimitri hasn't updated or announced it here, I would recommend you to do so Dimitri! I also was wondering if the latest Demo progress will without issue into the main game, if you can just continue where the demo leaves (whatever routes and saves you have) once the full version is out without issues.

You're right!! I'm so used to updating Steam and Twitter, but I always forget to update. Itch. Sorry guys. I will try to do better.

And yes, you can continue your demo saves no problem in the full game!

Btw, is the Demo here updated as well? I noticed that here on itch.io it is aroung 500mb and almost 1gb in steam. It does says the one here on itch.io was last updated 2 years ago

Also, is the Demo Content unchanged in the Full Game or significantly different? Like with new CGs or revised scenarios/events?

The demo here is up to date! The Steam version is "listed" as bigger, but it's actually the exact same set of files. I think Steam has their own way of measuring and rounding things up/down, while itch is a bit more "raw" and just gives you the files. I think thats the only difference.

Demo content is unchanged in the full game! I've made it consistent across all versions!

Steam now says the release date has been pushed back to October 2024. I don’t know how many times this game has been pushed back but I know it’s been a ridiculous amount. I’m so glad I didn’t back the kickstarter on this because I’m half convinced it’ll never get released. I mean, the kickstarter was back in 2020 and the demo is, from what I understand, 6 hours long? How are you no closer to releasing?? I’m also shocked no one’s said anything about this from what I can find. I know the push back for the release date has somewhat become a running joke with some mutuals. At this point, why even include a supposed release date?

I think those are fair criticisms. I'm very sorry to disappoint you and others! Life has gotten hectic personally and I am doing my best to wrap up the game. The script is done, I am currently editing and testing it to it's fullest capacity to make sure the game functions and is satisfying. I've been working on it for five years now, and I'm doing my best not to rush it out and make sure it's perfect. I definitely understand the release date changes are frustrating, and I'm super sorry about that. I treat the Steam dates as goals and estimations, but unfortunately until I set a final date it is all subject to change.

Thank you for following to this extent and caring enough to comment. As strange as it sounds, criticism is genuinely encouraging because people only give it because they care or are otherwise invested.

For what it's worth, the demo is probably less than 1/4 of the game total now, in terms of a singular playthrough. Once all branches are counted up, I think it's 1/10th of the game. By my estimate based on word count and paths at least. This is a massive project (that I brought upon myself) so I'm sorry it's taking so long.

Thanks for the transparency! I hope everything goes great with this project!
