I believe they said a few months ago that Out of Touch is close to ending, so they're going to focus on finishing that game and then going all hands on deck for this game once Out of Touch is done. (I could be wrong, but Out of Touch has been getting consistent updates for a while now, and this game still hasn't even been updated on Patreon since the February update)
Out of Touch is on chapter 48 out of 100 so it's a long ways off finishing. What you probably heard is that Tropicali is close to finishing, the next update which is likely to be out on the 31st , will be the second to last update. With the final probably coming in November.
