Where can I set the photo size. It's much smaller than in the version before. 

Try F8 then look in your maps folder

Would be nice to  get a menue with different sizes when pushing the photo icon.

I love this program. I think there'll be a lot of work to do for you in the future. I can't wait to see this growing up.
