To be up front, this is for a project that I've been back and forth with switching engines. Right now, I've settled with using Unreal Engine for cutscenes and using RPG Maker (the current build is using MZ) for the actual game, but the current character designs are 3D models (specifically VRM files; examples here. These aren't the current models, but some of what I've made) I can provide a link to the plugin to load the files in Blender (or screenshots of the models if preferred)
Yes, I know there's a 3D plugin for RPG Maker; the problem is if I use it, I'll have to redo the graphics to match the models (it'd be easier to just do pixel art versions of the models) And the reason why I'm not completely using Unreal Engine is because my computer is old (I know rendering is probably worse, but that only has to happen once)
GDD here (it's a bit of a mess, but has better examples of the sprite style I'm looking for and the 3D models)
For anyone who knows RPG Maker terms; I prefer to use taller sprites, about 1.5x the height of the RTP (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll provide examples along with the standard for the current RPG Maker)
I don't have a lot of money (I'm on a very fixed income at the moment) but we can negotiate pay if necessary.
EDIT: I can manage about $20-30 dollars per character as necessary. There's about 8 or 9 characters that need sprites (and some of those have variations; meaning completely different outfits, not pallets) The sprites are about 48x72 on a 3x4 basic 3 frame walk animation (I can provide a base to work from in the size that I'm using) I'm going to be as up front as possible because I've already had one person freak out that I wasn't able to afford $100. (If I had that kind of money, I'd just buy a new computer)
