Unable to save in Book 2

Hi, I started on book two and the entire menu ui at the bottom of the screen isn't there, making me unable to save and having to rely on autosaves. I attached a picture to show what I am talking about. is there another way to access the options/save page? thank you!

(PS, sorry if I was just dumb and unable to find it)

The quick menu is turned on automatically for the Android version, it's odd that it's not on yours like you're the first to have this issue. Kindly reinstall or something, if it still persists, Kindly wait, I've already addressed it to EO.

uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing changed. I'm still able to play the game perfectly fine, I'm just relying on auto saves so no worries. thanks for the fast responses!

Weird thing I discovered. When I go into the secret chapters that you click on from the main menu, I had all the menu UI at the bottom. the only don't appear when I'm playing the main story

I just reinstalled after having save issues (still can't get them to work at all), but I noticed that when I start again I also have this issue. Exactly the same, there's no UI at all.

This is a tough issue; we're actually unable to reproduce said problem on our side, I suggest for now that you download from our other official pages. See if it persists. Or you may have to delete your persistent savefile.

What does deleting the persistent file do?

I try and remember to check the other source tomorrow.

Holds your saved settings and flag, it will basically do a hard reset. You may have to start over too.

Well my UI has returned. I removed the persistent file and it's back, though in trying to test it being the cause and putting the file back, the UI remained, so who knows. Either way I can use it again. Sadly there's no recovering my saves anyway, so that's just bullet to bite regardless.

I didn't end up trying the other downloads at all.
