Missing zlib1.dll on Pixel Proof - Honest Edition (PixelProof-0.4.0.exe)

Hi!

I just installed the Pixel Proof - Honest Edition (PixelProof-0.4.0.exe). It installed fine, to the default directory, but when I ran it, I got a missing zlib1.dll error. I found the zlib1.dll on the internet and copied it to the PixelProof folder. This seemed to fix the problem. Just wanted to give you a heads up on this...I didn't see an email to send it to.

I'm using Windows 10 64 bit Home Edition. If you need more info just let me know :)

I also found that the Linux build requires libmad, which wasn't noted as a dependency in the README file. Easy to fix though.

Developer

Hmm. I would expect libmad to be a soft dependency since I'm not using mp3 decoding at all. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll see what is up.

Developer

Thanks for pointing this out! I'll fix my post-build and upload a new installer

Developer

I should also reassure you that zlib1.dll is a very common and easy to find dll. Any trusted source for that dll will be compatible with Pixel Proof in the meantime

Sure, no problem!
Pixel Proof is looking pretty good so far, good luck with it :)

Developer

The new installer package is uploaded now.

Thanks so much. I can't wait 'til animation is in there (which should be very soon according to my list). Then Pixel Proof will be ready for a lot more public attention.

Animation sounds really good! The more tools the better :)
