The game starts off pretty good, with pretty visuals and a cool opening, but it goes downhill pretty fast.

First of all, you cannot manually adjust your camera and it is really hard to see properly with all the janky movements and obstacles constantly obscuring your view. For example, at the very beginning of the game, the stairs leading up to the surface is obscured by the awful lighting and camera angle, forcing me to do a double take and check again at the dead end.

Second of all, the controls are absolutely awful and it's very counterintuitive. You cannot configure your own keyboard inputs, so you are forced to control your character with WASD with the run button (Shift) directly next to it. Combined with the fact that you cannot move the camera with your mouse, it is an agonizing experience when you have to jump the ledges or start at the previous save.

And finally, that all being said, here are the worst parts of the game. When I finally reached the maze, it is so hard to navigate the route because it is so foggy (I have to put my settings at the lowest quality) , and there are several points where I had to backtrack to the previous point after I pressed the two switches (I had to restart once) . And here comes the worst part of the game. After I completed the maze, I had to look up a walkthrough because it does not hint that you have to climb up a ledge (and it is so dark), but after climbing it, I accidentally fell from the ledge and the game immediately saved after that, forcing me to start over again. At this point, I rage quitted this game.

I know that this is their first game, but please do not make any mistakes like this game developer did.

Thanks for the honest review - you're not wrong about those things! This game was made 6 years ago for a game jam and I certainly learned a lot about what works and what doesn't (mostly the latter). Hope your rage didn't last for too long!
