I came in manor I tried to solve the candle puzzle but it didn't work and it gave me a message to try magic which I'm not sure if I did correctly but I couldn't explore the inside any further.

I'm currently stuck here too. I thought it might have something to do withe the blue flames on the top of the screen and that you have to light the candles accordingly, but so far it didn't work

Each window represents a candle. The blue flame shows if the candle needs to be lit.

seems like the pattern changes every time the game is reloaded. Ive had a few legitimately impossible ones and it is really frustrating. 8 candles means that not every pattern is possible.

I second the observation of TheSidwysDrftr. I had a run where it had an impossible combination of candles. I spend a lot of time double-checking, and it was quite annoying... So if you have a hard time solving the candle puzzle, just reload the game, and hope for an "easier" puzzle
