Hey all.  I see quite a few ASMR games on Itch but no topics in the community so I'm starting one.  Do you have an ASMR game?  Want to talk about it?  Let's post!

I see people looking at this but not posting.  Let me know why you are not chatting.  Are you looking  for links to ASMR games?  Should I post other content to get the conversation rolling?  Let me know!

You might want to explain what ASMR means and what you want to talk about, because I had to look it up and, like, okay?

Thank you for your reply.  So, ASMR is a specific neurological response to pleasant stimulus. It's that little shiver you get when petting a cat for example.  In popular culture, it has come to mean anything that is relaxing and distracting.  On YouTube for example there are thousands of videos claiming to be ASMR, they range from watching toothpaste tube filling machines run to people reading history books in a deep voice.

There are several ASMR games on Itch.  Here's a sample:

But no one seems to be talking about them.

I think they are interesting because they are kind of fusion point between gameplay and meditation.  You "play" them but they don't usually have win/lose conditions or scoring.  I think this is a genera of games with a lot of room for growth and I'd like to chat about it.

Thanks for your response!!!
