I've just bought Aven Colony and the download speed is rather dismal. At a mere 80kBps! I've tried both the direct download link on the Aven game page and using the launcher. At this speed it's going to take literally hours to download.

Any one else experianceing slow download speed?

It took me about 4 minutes, it all depends whether or not other people are using the website to download games (I assume). Just chill out. Put it on before you go to bed or something.

What region are you located in? I'm not sure where itch.io content servers are but generally they can handle the traffic.

Also have you tried downloading it from the itch.io client rather than using chrome to download it directly?

I generally have a lot of download issues. Does it have issues sending stuff to the UK?
