I just made my entry public and marked it as a success ... FEELS GOOD MAN!

https://samelinux.itch.io/ninjarlrevenge

First, keep coding your own entry, after the jam take a look at it and let me know what you think!

Have fun and good luck everyone!

Hi Luca, It looks and sounds amazing, but I cannot seem to play it in the browser? There is no link or anything on your itch page?

It seems that the itch.io embedding frame does not get the inout unless you click on it ... try clicking at the top "image" as it is the game, not an image 8ppp

Mmmh, I am using Chrome, but also tried it in Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0... no joy grrrrrr :)

I'm playing right now with chrome and i used chrome for the whole development ... that's quite strange!

I see the page below, just click in the green highlighted area and then use the keyboard. Does that work?

I also modified the page background to dark gray, now you should see way better where "the game box is", click in it and the use the keyboard.

Mmmh, still nothing... very strange. I might need a plugin or there could be a security setting that is blocking just for me. Change the background back to black it looks better. I will download firefox now and test. Will let you know ASAP.

I tried to enable webgl as well by typing chrome://flags/ in the uri as suggested in google searches. I had some weird McAfee security plugin that I disabled as well... couldn't get it to work. No worries, I'll keep trying. It's probably just my browser. I see in comments someone got it working.... so it's something on my PC. I'm going to hit the sack now and get some sleep. Final push early tomorrow...

Hope you'll manage to get it to work. Keep me updated so i can fix any issue you find

Still not working (Google, Chrome, Firefox). I tried running the browser in admin mode as well. I'll google a bit to see if I can find what is wrong.

I can say i don't have any other report of a catastrophic failure on all major browser 8)

The game use a canvas, an image and js without any library or any external tool/thing/beemoth.

You can download the page (better the game iframe) and play offline or mess with the code. It's that easy i swear 8p

It works! I think disabling a browser plugin was what sorted it. Going to make a cuppa coffee now and play me some NINJA! :)

YEAH! Have fun!
