Looking for Advice & Collaboration on Our Eco-Friendly, Mental Health-Conscious Game Idea!

Hi everyone,

My friends and I are working on a game concept called TerraVibe: Eco Odyssey, and we’d love some help and feedback from the community! We’re passionate about creating a unique, open-world life simulation game that combines eco-conscious gameplay with mental health support through adaptive AI and emotional recognition.

What’s TerraVibe: Eco Odyssey?

It’s an open-world game where players restore a polluted world into a sustainable environment. Inspired by Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and The Sims, it focuses on:

  • Eco-Friendly Gameplay: Players adopt sustainable practices to clean up the world, from reforestation to solar-powered farming.
  • Adaptive AI & Emotional Recognition: NPCs adjust based on the player’s mood, offering supportive interactions that help players feel better emotionally.
  • Mental Health-Conscious Design: As the in-game world heals, so does the player’s emotional landscape, promoting positive mental well-being.

Why We’re Here:

While we’ve got the concept and a detailed budget breakdown, we’re lacking experience in actually building and marketing a game. That’s where we’re hoping you can help:

  • Advice: Any tips on where to start with development or finding funding (like Indie Fund) would be amazing!
  • Collaborators: We’re open to working with experienced developers or artists who might be passionate about eco-friendly gaming.
  • Feedback: Does this concept resonate with you? Any suggestions for making the game even better?

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in helping with, we’d love to hear your thoughts! We’re happy to share more details or discuss how you could get involved.

Thanks so much for your time, and we’re excited to hear from you!

this sounds like an amazing project and exactly the kind of thing i'm looking to help collaborate on! i'm looking to help support indie developers with music and i have a social work background so the mental health aspect appeals to me, in addition to the eco theme. what's the best way to get in contact?

I say start promoting it on youtube by showing gameplay and have find a therapist who play game play through it and give their though. Anyway sound like a great game

Don't really have any advice, but the concept seems very exciting! Love to follow your progress If you get cracking on it!

This sounds like a really  nice concept and something that I would play.  It gives player's a sense of accomplishment and a feel good vibe to it. Looking forward to how this game progresses
