Desecrated Deck is based on the rock, paper, scissors principle!

Welcome to Desecrated Deck, a unique and creepy horror card game that takes you into the dark world of a cursed ritual. You play Ethan, an influencer who explores abandoned places for his fans. But when he goes into the basement of a mysterious house, more than just an exciting location for another video awaits him - he stumbles across a mysterious card game that can not only grant wishes, but also has murderous consequences.

The story of Desecrated Deck - A dangerous deal with the unknown

Ethan is a charismatic but risky influencer who is known for going to dangerous places to entertain his subscribers. To his fans, he is the brave adventurer who is not afraid to face the deepest secrets and most dangerous ruins. But on his latest adventure, he ends up in the basement of an abandoned house surrounded by dark rumors. It is said that a card game exists here that can supposedly grant the player’s wishes. But the price is high - and it could cost Ethan everything.

In the darkness of this cursed cellar, Ethan begins to play the game, unaware that he is becoming involved in a diabolical ritual. Each time he draws a card, he discovers more about the game - and about the dark history of the house, which is haunted by demons, sinister creatures and the ghosts of those who tried to play the game before him.

The Item cards are a core element of Desecrated Deck and are necessary for attacks, for example!

The game - suspense and horror in every card

Desecrated Deck isn’t just about fighting your opponent - it’s also about living with the consequences of your decisions. As Ethan, you draw cards that equip you with powerful items and perks that can help you win the game. But be careful - every card also has its dark side. The powerful Revolver card, for example, can help you defeat your opponent, but it can also drive you mad. The Plague Doctor, on the other hand, heals your weakened life force and restores a life card!

Every step you take could lead Ethan closer to the abyss as he fights for survival in this gruesome game. But there’s no turning back - the game has become a part of him.

Perks are little helpers that can, for example, weaken or even prevent attacks.

Why should you play Desecrated Deck?

  • Gripping story: Accompany Ethan on his journey through the cursed house and experience how he goes from being a simple adventurer to a prisoner of the game.
  • Atmospheric horror setting: The dark basement room in which the game takes place perfectly captures the creepy and eerie atmosphere. The threat grows with every card drawn.
  • Moral choices: Your decisions as Ethan have profound effects on the game. Can you escape the game, or will you fall for it?
  • Exciting game mechanics: Combine rock, paper, scissors with strategic card actions to defeat your opponent. But always be aware of the danger - one wrong move and the game ends for you.

Desecrated Deck is more than just a card game. It’s a story about curiosity, desperation and trying to fight against a dark force. Are you ready to play the game and find out what Ethan and this secret ritual are really all about?

Thank you very much!

Elvis

Hi guys!

Today I want to go into more detail about the individual cards of Desecrated Deck.
In addition to the actual game system, I’ll explain the Item and Perk cards.

Desecrated Deck is classic and based on the rock, paper, scissors principle…

In concrete terms, this means:
-Scissors beat paper, but lose to stone
-Paper beats rock, but loses to scissors
-Rock beats scissors, but loses to paper

The aim is to beat your opponent in 3 turns and then draw an item card.

Item cards from left to right: the thief, the revolver, the plague doctor, the blind man, the hanged man, the burning witch…

The revolver
“The revolver, a curse, rusty and grim,
Its chamber, at times full, at times dim.
The trigger, an unwritten decree,
Sometimes it strikes, sometimes it lets you be.
When it speaks, it roars with might,
Taking lives like poison’s bite.
A flash of light, so brief, so bright,
Then life fades away, lost in the night.”

When the revolver fires, it removes one of four life cards.

In Desecrated Deck, lives are represented by life cards. At the beginning of the match
everyone starts with four life cards…

The Plague Doctor
“The Plague Doctor, in the dark of night,
With healing hands, bringing life to light.
When death is near, so close, so real,
He comes as a necromancer, to heal what’s sealed.
With a whisper, soft and clear,
He brings life back, so true, so near.”

The plague doctor restores a life card. If he is summoned with 4 life cards, he restores a life card after death as a necromancer and summons the dead back to life.

The Blind Man
“The Blind Man, who sees in the dark,
With eyes that are clouded, yet sharp as a spark.
His gaze, so empty, yet full of might,
He reveals the unknown in the dead of night.
With a whisper, soft and light,
He shows you what the darkness ignites.”

The blind man allows you to summon another item card.

The Burning Witch
“The flames blaze, hot and clear,
Death approaches, dark and near.
A curse is cast, your shield is gone,
She takes your life, all hope withdrawn.
No protection left, no final stand,
Her fire burns, merciless and grand.”

The burning witch burns down a life card and, if available, the perk card.

The Hangman
“The rope tightens, breath fades away,
A chilling breeze wraps you in dismay.
The world fades, death draws near,
It’s almost here, you see it clear.
The Hangman laughs, his work complete,
Your life ends in the quiet of defeat.”

The hanged man is the suicide card. It demands a life card.

The Thief
“The shadows call, the night is yours,
You slip like smoke through moonlit doors.
With quiet hands, a treasure found,
The Thief helps you, your deck unbound.
A perk, a boon, from hands so sly,
The Thief makes you rich — with wit and sly.”

If the thief is summoned, he allows you to draw a perk card.

Perk cards from left to right: the fortune teller’s crystal ball, the unfair scale, the cursed mirror, the tombstone, the handcuffs, the poisonous mushroom…

The fortune teller’s crystal ball
The fortune teller’s crystal ball provides an insight into another, uncovered item card before the actual item card is drawn.
The advantage is clear: you draw the better item card.

The unfair scale
The unfair scale is an exchange perk. The turn round loser offers the turn round winner one of their item cards, which the turn round winner must then use. In contrast, the turn round loser receives an item card from the turn round winner.
This is particularly effective if it is clear which item cards are left. At best, you give your opponent the hanged man.

The cursed mirror
The cursed mirror reflects the Revolver and Burning Witch item cards back onto the attacker. So if you win the turn and your opponent has played the cursed mirror, it is an advantage not to summon the revolver or the burning witch…

The tombstone
The tombstone causes the round winner to be abandoned. He therefore cannot reveal an item card and remains in the grave!

The handcuffs
Possession of the handcuffs allows you to deactivate your opponent’s scissors, stone or paper before a turn.
This allows you to deliberately win or even lose a turn.

The poisonous mushroom
The poisonous mushroom poisons the opponent and reduces the chance of success for his item cards.
But be careful! If the opponent draws the hanged one, the suicide chance is also reduced by half!
