I'm not aware of any issue with the save system. Can you please provide more information? Are you playing on mobile or desktop? iOS/Android? What browser is being used?
You can also try to use the save to disk and load from disk functionalities.
Oh sorry, i got the save to disk thing mixed up with the export saves other games have, i must've saved the game in the menu when i did it the first time lol
