Anyone else having a hard time with Argument Altercation?

The game was great up until this point. Like, it's actually so hard, even though i'm playing on kind mode. I've been stuck on it for around 2 hours...and the one time I did manage to make it to the end, the timer ended before I could even read what the words said (the part where you gotta hit WASD in an order). So yeah am I just really bad at it or anyone else having problems too?

I am having a hard time with it on kind as well.  Having to use the keyboard to both move around and fire makes it too clunky.  I wonder if being able to use the mouse to move around Damon or aim the bullets would make it easier.  Maybe I just suck at this game.

Didn't play kind mode but played on mean so I can't say i'm not sure how difficult kind mode is. But, based on some of the previous threads, other people seem to be struggling too. Personally, it took me around 3-4 hours to just beat mean, it was a lot more difficult than I expected :/ (had I known about the bullet hell minigame I would have lowered the difficulty before starting the trial).
The best strat for me was to stay near the left side of the screen at all times, if you do that you can just focus on moving up and down to to dodge most of the attacks in phase 1 and 2. Some of the attacks like the red targets for phase 1, you'll need to move around but return back to your original position. And if you're playing on keyboard, have one finger holding down spacebar at all times, you'll end up hitting most of the statements for the mega bullet as you move around. In phase 2 and phase 3, it's important to use the shift key to slow down to dodge the hard-to-dodge attacks. The key thing about this is to try to memorize some of the attack patterns in each of the phases, so you know when to use your mega bullet. I hope this can be helpful to you guys and anyone reading this comment despite our different difficulty modes!!

Yes, it is far too difficult for murder mystery novel game lol. I played on mean, took around a hour to beat it. IMO biggest problems of minigame is hitbox(its really big so its straight up impossible to dodge some attacks, ESPECIALLY at third phase) and clunky controls(no mouse? really? either fix controls to M1 noise bullet and M2 mega bullet, or make option to customize keybind)

My biggest advice would be to use focus mode as often as possible, it recharges really fast. Also try to shoot mega bullets ASAP, especially at third phase, you wont survive for too long so you should end it fast.

IDK if thats bug or not, but you actually can  choose any word options at the end, i am pretty sure my word order was incorrect but it passed anyway.

It's definitely the black spot on an otherwise fun game so far. I still haven't beaten it yet. I'm playing on Mean, but even when the Slow Down mechanic glitches and the slow down gauge doesn't deplete (allowing me to be in slow down forever), I still lose.

Also, don't use a controller here. It will mess with the keyboard controls, and it will render the WASD keys unusable.
