I legitimately can't beat it with WASD. If I use controller, I can reach the point where you have to use WASD to reveal the answer, but it won't work on controller, AND since I used a controller, the WASD keys on the keyboard are glitched and won't work.

Even when Focus Mode glitched and I was allowed to be in permeant Focus on Mean difficulty, I still lost. Yeah, I had a way to cheese it and I still lost, whether that's a skill issue or an issue with the game, you can decide for yourself. It's very frustrating. Perhaps I'm in the minority here, but I don't think Argument Altercation is fun to play. It feels very awkward to play on keyboard and I feel that don't have great control.

I'm starting to lose motivation to play this now.

If you're still stuck, the way to get the controller to recognize the wasd inputs on the final question working for me, was to push both joysticks in the direction of the word you want.
