Clickteam programmer looking for experience

Hello there folks.

I've been developing my skills in Clickteam Fusion for a number of years now in pursuit of my own personal projects, but have run into multiple stumbling blocks in their pursuit. It's one thing being able to set out and create a particular set of mechanics, but another to be able to structure a project from start to finish and move from one stage to another until an entire product is complete, and this is what I wish to next focus upon in improving my game dev skillset.

So what I'm offering here is my services, preferably on small, simple Clickteam games which should take no more than a couple of months to finish, in order to familiarise myself with the whole process. Regarding charges, these I'm happy to discuss on an individual basis, but to be clear I'm not under any delusions that I'm up on a pro level yet and my focus is very much on continued improvement, so would be happy to go pro bono on something which looks suitably quick, straightforward and not terribly labour intensive.

So if you're someone with plans to start something soon do come say hello, and we can discuss further project suitability, thanks for reading!

It's a pity this site doesn't allow for particular large gifs, as I'd be able to showcase a lot more of my previous works?

This is from some test mechanics I made for Megaman 2 last year, I wanted to see how well grappling could be worked into a running shooter, and was pleased with the results.

This is why I say I'd like to work on a simpler project with someone, as I have confidence in my ability to create some pretty impressive mechanics and moments within a game, but would like to gain experience in building something more complete in order to better showcase them.

So if anyone has a Clickteam project in mind they think might be suitable, please do come share

have you had any experience with making fighter games?

Which sort do you mean, scrolling brawlers like Double Dragon or one on one like Street Fighter?

I whipped this together yesterday, is this something like what you had in mind?

I feel 40 years younger watching this lol

They're great graphics! Capcom and Konami were making incredible looking games back then which haven't aged a day since, and this is exactly what I'm looking to create as an indiedev, games which look and feel like the very best of that early 90s era.
