right at the start of the investigation when you press on the dummy and it lowers its angle, my game freezes and suddenly just stops working. I've tried over and over getting there from different points of the game in different save files and redownloaded the entire game file, i just cant figure out what the issue is. any help? 

This usually indicates that your pc is below the min spec requirement, I suggest going to the discord and looking for the low spec build or stay tuned for an eventual public release. Sorry about that!
