Butler is a really good tool, so I wonder why there isn't a push to encourage developers to upload using this? And similarly to encourage players to download games using the itch.io app. This way, developers don't have to upload the whole build of a game when they release an update, and players don't have to re-download the whole game every time there is an update.  

The system is so good, but a lot of people are not using it! Lol. It would be very nice if it became like Steam, where everyone understood that you download the client to get updates. But I realize that itch.io is not Steam.  I am not here to critique. I just wanted to give some praise to butler.
