I played voices of the void a lot of times using the itch.io launcher
Recently tho, I noticed the assets folder not working properly as I tried to import mp4 files into the tv folder as it was instructed many times (I've properly put them in the user/appdata/local/VOTV/assets folder. That's all I read online about this problem.).
When I tried instead to play using the Non-games steam options on steam, the game seems to be running better BUT I lost all progress. But the story doesn't end there :
On the Itch version of the game, I tried opening the assets folder in game.. but it didn't open anything. And when I tried to put a custom folder directory for the game to detect, no matter what I was putting it always returned "incorrect folder name" or somethign (yes, EVEN the user/appdata/local/VOTV/assets didn't work at all...)
And when doing the exact same thing with the Steam version opening up, it opens properly the assets folder and I can use it all properly.
So that kinda solved the assets folder issue I had... BUT I pretty much have ZERO CLUE where the saves on the Itch version of the game is... Seriously, I am at a complete loss regarding how itch works and I have a hunch it doesn't the proper appdata/local/VOTV folder to store any date when using it through itch. That or I am missing something.
Please I want to know exactly how I could retrieve my saves and well, everything else to continue enjoying the game... I know it might be nitpicking but I wanna use the assets folder and I don't want to lose a whole lot of progress onto the game (not only that but I'd lose every single achievements I got thus far, it'd suck tremendously for some of em...)
All I need to know is the PATH where itch.io saves the game so I can transfer it properly to where it's actually needed and then I'll play using the steam shortcut from there on. Anyone got any advice on it ?
