Hello everyone! Here is a short video for a demonstration for some basic gameplay mechanics for my upcoming indie game – “Mirage Castle”. I’d like to get a feedback about it.
I plan to make a sequel to my first game “The Trader, Death and You” (it is available for free and you can find a link in my profile), but first I need to make some fixes in core mechanics, so I plan to make several demos like this to test and demonstrate how this mechanics works.
This demo includes motion mechanic - running, jumping, coyote time etc and camera control mechanic. Also I added a jump counting mechanic to add challenge and goal to the demo.
I deliberately avoided overloading the demo with animations and effects and added a trail behind the character to make certain mechanics, like Coyote Time, more visible.
