Unable to sign into Apple Music after 2.6.0

After updating to Cider 2.6.0, I was met with the typical startup login/sign-up process and customizing your Cider Audio Labs settings etc, that is typical when removing the old version of Cider and installing the new version. However, upon clicking "Sign into Apple" and inputting my info correctly, I'm met with this "Problem Connecting" error message constantly. Doesn't seem like Apple Music itself is down at the time of writing, anyone else dealing with this? At a loss after a complete uninstall and reinstall of Cider, restart, resetting the internet even lol, all the works. No VPN is enabled at this time, never had this issue before with Cider previously. Hopefully I can get some help here 🙏 Running an M1 Macbook on Sequoia 15.2

Same problem here - no one answered this as yet.  Just purchased it, updated it : now at version 2.6.0.13 - Electron.  I know my Apple ID works because I go directly to the Apple music web page and log in without a problem.  Anyone with a working solution?

Hi,

I had the the same problem with purchased version on Ubuntu 24.10, so I uninstalled Cider, downloaded debian and flatpak version. First I installed debian version without troubles but there was no Cider icon, I have to run Cider from  the terminal and this version can't connect with running Apple, after I entered Apple code I was still unsigned. I uninstall this version. Flatpak version installed smoothly, it connected to Apple itself and works fine - maybe it's your solution. One annoying thing it has  cogwheel icon not original cider but it's minor problem, anyway I'can't solve it.

Good luck

I've just installed Ubuntu 24.04 on my 2017 iMac.  Purchased Cider and tried installing Cider 2.6.1 with deb package and flatpak. Selecting "Sign in with Apple ID" doesn't do anything on either.  Updated to 2.6.1.1 on both installs and I get the Apple sign in and that seems to succeed, but get the authentication error.  I can log into Apple Music website just fine.
