Cooking minigame rework (Timing)

I'm sure I'm not the only one that sucks at the cooking game, but for me I think the biggest thing that makes it hard is the notes are not in line with the song tempo.
They are sort of similar, but there seems to be a bit of a tempo drift.  So some parts of songs have notes on time at the right points, and most of the rest of the song is way off.  This makes it really off-putting.
(Would love if the difficulty was toned down a bit across the board, but if not, this would go a long way to making it better.)

The maps were made based of midi files directly extracted by the musicians and the notes/bpm changes correspond directly to the notes in the song.

The only possible explanation I can think of is that your device is too slow which is creating that feeling.

"Would love if the difficulty was toned down a bit across the board" That's a skill issue brother!

(1 edit)

Can assure that my pc is certainly not too slow.
Could maybe be because I've been playing on browser rather than from download?
The timing is definitely off on a lot of the songs though.  Some aren't as bad.  Evox Machine (for Gyros)  seems to not be off as much for example.  Don't just take my word for it though.  Would be good to get other input.

And yeah, skill issue.  The songs are very doable with practice (if you ignore the music), but anything past around difficulty rating 7 is just not possible on fast, ultra fast, or insane unless you went to the trouble of making a macro.

Still, loving the game.  For a lewd game, it's clear this has been a labour of love.
The different storylines and branching options.  The different minigames, and satirical commentary.  And the general vibe is just really sweet.
