My game, As Hard as We Fall, has just released it's demo yesterday!

For a brief summary of the game, here's an excerpt from my carrd:

Jamison Barclay, apathetic 24 year old, is finally evicted from his apartment after several-times repeated failure to pay rent. With his family living hours away and no car to sleep in, Jamison calls a “deer” friend from his childhood, who in a stroke of luck is now a landlord. He offers Jamison a free month of rent with the promise that Jamison will soon find a job.

Follow Jamison as he:

Searches for ambition in a world that seems to be against him.

Observes the day-to-day of his odd neighbors in attempt to discover the magic behind making it through life.

Confronts the parts of himself he hates the most.

Discovers that everything is not as it seems.

This game is simple mechanically and small in scope, but I hope it resonates with you all in terms of its writing and characterization.

If you like games like Mouthwashing and Night in the Woods, then this game is definitely for you.
