My first sprawling, complicated Bitsy game, How Many Birds

Hello all,

I just completed my first Bitsy game, How Many Birds, which relied heavily on various mods and some code tweaking of my own. The game lies somewhere between an exploratory 8-bit game, psychoanalysis, and early CD-ROM experiences. It was inspired by early 2000's Flash mini-games, and the chaos of those early interactive web experiences.

I used the Bitsy engine, along with HTML Canvas and custom video players. It's super buggy on mobile, would recommend only trying on a computer :-P

Bitsy is such an amazing platform, and it was incredibly flexible and inspiring. Thank you Adam Le Doux!!

Please hit me up with any feedback, would love to hear what anyone thinks!

PS: for anyone in the Seattle area, it is currently on display in a show of my work until Feb 21st at Cornish College of the Arts gallery.
