Hello passionate developers, artists, designers and others. I’m Kostek, a computer-science student from Poland who has got a combination of tech (Python, JS/TS) & management skills.

I am a quick learner, determined, and sociable, plus extremely enthusiastic about Technology (GameDev 100%) 👾

I am looking for passionate people who want to apply their skills on a real-life project in a collaborative environment where you have creative freedom & impact!

Below I briefly described the game concept & goal of the project.

Game concept:

2D isometric RPG mobile game that combines “learning with fun” based on real Historical events in the period of 1937-1945 from the Japanese perspective.

Goal:

The goal of this project is combining “learning with fun” for students, youth, and people interested in History who want to learn through playing!

Little more info:

Interesting gameplay, engaging narrative, RPG-related features, level roadmap and more mechanics/feature will make this game interesting.

Each Historical event represents a mission (2 types of missions: “main”, “side”) where the actual gameplay is happening.

New characters will be unlocked through completing sub-objectives of main missions. Each character will be unique, have it’s own special ability and attack.

Key Features:

  • Inventory system
  • Buying/selling items system
  • Comics (intro, summary) for each mission
  • Crafting/improving items(weapons, armor) system
  • Journal system (functions as a book where each page is dedicated for mission. The page contains detailed info about the mission like comics, unknown facts, enemies list, collectables to consolidate knowledge or learn missed things)
  • Level roadmap (unlocking new characters, collecting resources, in-game currency)
  • Daily reward system
  • Characters collection
  • Achievements system

I’ve already started working substantially and ready to fully commit toward the project development & building the supportive environment where everyone has a power of choice & decision to ensure we’re on track! I have been using Notion for creating project plan, tasks management system, databases for stuff related to game, keep track of helpful resources. I’ve also prototyped core mechanics/concepts in Figma to define the game flow from the very beginning!
